I made a Montessori busy board for my nephew Rufino. What started as a personal project turned into a design reflection: every element on the board, chosen to develop a specific fine motor skill, maps directly to principles I apply in my UX/UI work every day. Affordance, cognitive load, accessibility. Montessori had it figured out long before we gave it a name.
